D4V-3
The Boundless Dynamics D4V-3, colloquially named “Dave” by its pilots, is a purpose built race aircraft. It features a single seat, two high thrust jet engines, variable geometry swept wings, twin vertical stabilizers, large rear elevons, and an unobstructed bubble canopy. The Jetborne Racing league is designed to give all racers an even playing field, so each race plane is nearly identical, other than the livery. In order to reduce development costs for race teams, the D4V-3’s cockpit hardware and avionics are sourced from decommissioned fighter jets.
